Diamante War Poem

This is my Diamond or Diamante poem that describes War. We have been learning about how some soldiers from New Zealand went to war to save us from getting kicked out of our places or countries and so they can't destroy our homes. When I started writing this Diamante poem I felt really sad for the people that passed away so those that are looking and reading at my poem right now please leave a comment because it is really sad for those families that have lost a loved one.

    You capture the theme of war well. Aren't we luck New Zealand isn't at war!

2015 “Wow! This has been an AMAZING year” I have loved being a student at Pt England School. The reason why I love Pt England is because it has such nice teachers and also students. 2015 has been a memory that I will never forget. For the past few weeks in social studies we have been looking at the amazing culture of Tokelau. I have learnt many new and amazing things about Tokelau. In our Social Studies class we were told to make a Tokelau presentation and we had to add on some fun facts about Tokelau. PART 1 There once lived a girl she was only 7 years old,she lived with her father and her mother then her father passed away because of cancer. When her dad passed away because of cancer her life changed heaps,she wasn’t use to her mother because her mother goes to work and comes back home at 11pm at night and she never spends time with her and they never get along.
